This VW Beetle 1303 Cabrio left the Karmann factory in Osnabrück on 14 February 1979, bound for Los Angeles. In 2017, the car was re-imported to Germany and underwent a full restoration.
The car was completely stripped down to the last screw and rebuilt from scratch.
The engine and gearbox are the original factory-fitted units and are therefore ‘matching numbers’.
As a result, the Beetle is in the condition of a new car.
Since the restoration, the car has covered 4,000 km.
