The SL 55 AMG supercharged V8 is the final version, producing 517 PS, before its successor, the SL 63 AMG, was launched.
The 5.5-litre supercharged V8, with its 720 Nm of torque available from as low as 2,600 rpm, is a real joy to drive and makes the SL both fast and comfortable.
