This 2001 G 500 is the last vehicle to roll off the production line in Graz without a CAN bus.
No CAN bus means an analogue electrical system without a multitude of control units connected by fibre-optic cables – a technology that was new at the time and prone to failures, resulting in costly repairs.
A G-Class that will run without any problems for the next 25 years.
The car is rust-free, has never been repainted and is in perfect overall condition.
A car for a museum!
But that would be a shame, because a G-Class is meant to be driven.
Maintenance and mechanics are up to date, and a stainless steel exhaust system has also recently been fitted.
