The SL was purchased new from the Mercedes dealership in Augsburg and has never left the district of Augsburg in Bavaria, even retaining the same registration number throughout.
The SL has changed hands once within the company and thus remained in family ownership.

The service history is complete and stamped by Mercedes workshops.
The current service with MOT was carried out in July 2025.
